The Problem: From my experience as a trained lifeguard, all of the course content in the National Lifesaving program was done through a textbook. However, the first aid standard changes very often, which forces lifesavers in training to constantly purchase updated textbooks and courses. In addition, many certifications are required for the Lifesaving program. This platform would allow lifeguards to track their certifications and be notified prior to their expirations.
Aid+ is a handy tool that provides updated guidelines for first aid and is completely free – because I believe everyone should have access to free first aid training. This tool is suitable for both the experienced and beginner lifesaving trainee.

Logo design for a school app.
The Problem: The school’s administrative team asked a team of programming students to solve the issue of students missing the daily morning announcements. Uhs.life is a website and app that allows students to access updates about school events right from their devices. Students are able to login with their existing Google Apps account using their student number. I was in charge of creating the look of the branding, which included logo, typography, colour scheme, and layouts.
Traffic Box Design
The City of Markham held a project where they invited high school students to design vinyl box wraps to be displayed in major intersections around the city. This design was one of 6 that were chosen to represent ‘Markham in the next 150 years'. This illustrative design constitutes a community thriving in outer space. It illustrates the advancement of technology and how it could potentially bring our everyday lives outside of planet Earth.
